I never cry at weddings (I think I’ve said that before), but I felt a little like crying when Ashley and Chuck drove off after the wedding. I just love these two people, and as they waved and blew kisses, as their truck pulled away, I felt sad that the wedding was over. It was such a beautiful wedding, a beautiful day, and no one was more deserving than these two. Neither one was the least bit nervous, just relaxed and excited about the day.
There are so many fabulous pictures to share:
The fabulous cake was courtesy of Catherine’s Cakes.
The amazing dress, from Lowe’s Bridal in Brinkley (and if you’re a bride, they are about to have their huge annual half-price sale, so check them out!)
Getting ready. Ashley was such a great bride. Pictures were a priority to her, and we discussed the importance of natural light in the room where the wedding party was getting ready. Unfortunately, there was only one room available with a window, and it was a small, tinted window. So, Ashley brought lights and this great mirror, which helped both the lighting situation, and as the girls touched up! Now, that’s attention to details!
The first look, courtesy of Wes. This is the first wedding Wes has been able to join me for, and it was a blast having a second shooter. Wes is a great photographer, and I just wish he wasn’t so busy with baseball commitments all of the time. As a matter of fact, he wasn’t suppossed to be at this wedding, he was working a camp that was cancelled at the last minute. Lucky for us! He did a great job, and it was awesome to have some different angles for some of these shots. You can see more of Wes’s photography in the slideshow.
Thank you for letting us be apart of your wedding, Ashley and Chuck! We think you are an amazing couple, and I know you are going to have a beautiful marriage. Love you both!
