When Jenny told me the wedding was going to be a vintage carnival theme, I cautiously asked if she would want to continue that theme into her bridal session, and shoot a few of her portraits at a fall carnival?? (nervously, because what bride would want to take her dress to a county fair?!!) Jenny just happens to be the the coolest, most laid-back bride EVER, because she and her mother both thought this was a great idea, and were totally on board (even after a little rain storm the morning of the session) We really did get lucky, because the ground was dry by evening, and our session was about as perfect as we could have hoped. The Johnson County fair in Clarksville was contained primarily on a nice, grassy lawn, so it was much easier to keep the dress clean that we had anticipated, and I can safely say…no dresses were harmed in the making of these images
Here are a few favorites from Jenny’s bridal session…..
This little girl thought Jenny was a princess…her mouth dropped open when she saw her, and she ran for a hug. Then, she asked to have her picture taken with the princess!!
We also shot a few more traditional bridals right up the road, at the University of Ozarks, to make sure Jenny had a variety of bridal shots….The Wedding Post, or just click on the image below! And, check out, right beside Jenny, who is also debuting on The Wedding Post…..The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch! I am so excited about this new rustic venue opening this summer in the River Valley. We have a teaser shoot there this November, and I can’t wait to show off the gorgeous new venue. So, while you are at The Wedding Post, check out The Barn as well!!
Jenny and Kory were married this past Saturday, and their wedding was amazing! Check back soon to see Jenny and Kory’s fun carnival-themed wedding. Happy Monday!
