Johnna and Ryan originally met through their jobs. Both work for Ryan’s aunt and uncle, and when Johnna was hired, Ryan immediately wanted to get to know her better. Timing wasn’t quite right at the time, but eventually the stars aligned, and Ryan was able to ask Johnna on that first date. That was several years ago, and Ryan finally proposed this past fall, and Johnna began planning the perfect wedding. Originally, they were going to get married in Russellville, but later decided to go all out for a Maui wedding in Hawaii. Both Ryan and Johnna’s families, at least most of them, were able to make the trip to watch them say their vows on the beaches of Maui. I cannot even begin to say how honored I was to be able to be there as well.
Johnna and Ryan’s families kind of adopted me for the trip and let me tag along on several of their family excursions. It was a blast, and I want to go back so bad I can hardly stand it! The wedding was at Mama’s Fish House, and not only was it a perfect setting for a wedding, it was also on of the best meals I have ever eaten in my life!
Jaden is Ryan’s little sister, and she just stole my heart. She is precious!
Johnna and Ryan opted for a first look, so they would have more time for pictures around the beautiful grounds of Mama’s Fish House. I know Ryan wasn’t crazy about the idea, but Johnna really wanted lots of pictures, and I am so glad he was a good guy, and opted to please his bride! I always love lots of time for pictures
