I met Lacey back in February when I spoke to Diane Race’s wedding planning class. Lacey is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet, and I was so flattered that she wanted to book her wedding with me. Lacey and Morgan are getting married NEXT May, so they are really on the ball. And, Lacey LOVES pictures (and the camera LOVES her back, which you will soon see!) so they wanted to get engagements this summer. It is especially fun getting to know Lacey and Morgan, because I am also shooting Morgan’s brother’s wedding, as well. If you follow this blog, you might remember Trystan and Michael’s awesome engagement session from a month or so ago.
Morgan proposed last December, after a series of “hot dates” leading up to a super romantic proposal, where Morgan took Lacey to all of the places around Russellville that had been important in their relationship. And Lacey didn’t have a clue. When the grande finale came, Morgan planned to take Lacey to Skyline, but the icy roads were more than Lacey was up for. But, I guess the ice was worth it, since a ring was waiting at the end of that “hot date”, right Lacey?!!
Lacey and Morgan met in high school and it is so obvious they are crazy about each other! Lacey told me up front that she is a little uncomfortable with “public displays of affection” but was going to try to suck it up for the sake of great pictures. So, I hope it was worth it.
