Amy was referred to my by a friend and fellow photographer, Heather Owens, and we got the chance to meet up this weekend in Altus for a fun engagement shoot. Michael and Amy were kind enough to drive down from Fayetteville to meet me and fulfull my little hankering to shoot a session in the vineyards surrounding Altus. I have always loved the look of vineyards, and was so glad to get to incorporate it into a session. In a couple of weeks, I am shooting a wedding in Altus, and hope to use the vineyards again for some couples portraits…..
Amy and Michael met when both living in Fayetteville and wound up as neighbors. They are a way- fun and relaxed couple, and I immediately felt at ease with them. I am so stoked I got the chance to meet them! You guys did great! (Although, I am pretty sure I should make an outtakes slideshow of Michael, who kept cutting up for the camera!) I put a few in the slideshow, so to see him being a goof-ball, check it out at the end…

Amy spied this pink truck on the side of the road, and wanted to incorporate it in the session–and I was all purrrrfect!
And, right beside the roadside pink truck were some pretty vineyards, but alas, this sign was posted, so we taunted it, then moved on. 
The vineyards we ended up stopping at were at Chatuea Aux Arc, and it was a perfect area to end our session at….
Amy is going to be a gorgeous bride! Check out those eyes….
