You wanna play tennis? Simple question, simple decision. Funny how the simplest decisions we make can become such life altering experiences. Nathan’s roommate had a date to play tennis, and they wanted to play doubles. Having never played tennis, he thought, why not? Ashley’s roommate had a date to play tennis, and begged her to be the fourth. But, I hate tennis….I’m not very good at it….. Still she relented.
One little decision, one little game of tennis…….that ultimately led to one late night of talking about nothing and everything. Ashley and Nathan wanted to return to the scene of the initial meeting for their engagement photos. But we didn’t play tennis! We just walked around Old Post Park in Dardanelle, starting at the wooden bridge where all of that after-tennis talking had taken place.
On a personal note, Nathan is my cousin, and the genius of the family. He gets insanely good grades, and is getting close to graduating from Pharmacy School, and we are all just so proud of him! Nathan and my sister were totally best buds growing up, and I was always a little jealous that they got to hang out all of the time, while I had no cousin my age.
