I think it’s ironic that baseball season in the McCrotty household is opening up on the same day that football season is officially ending. It’s not any big secret that I hate football, and for me, celebrating the Super Bowl is mainly about celebrating the fact that I won’t have to see any football until the fall. Conversely, I LOVE to watch baseball, which is a good thing, since I married a baseball coach.
Today was crazy warm for February, and beautiful, so I slathered the girls in sunscreen and took them to the game. (Well, I actually called my mother-in-law to take us, since my car had a dead battery….)
Anyway, I am not going to be shooting the Tech baseball games like I usually do, because weekends are such a big time for portrait sessions. But, I did have a chance to snap a few, and my mother-in-law even caught a couple of our family between games. So, hooray for baseball season! And, whooppee for the Super Bowl (aka end of football season!)
And Tech split. So, not a great way to start the season, but there’s still a long season to come! I’m off to get the girls ready for our family Super Bowl party!
